A New Model Year of Adventure is Just Over the Horizon at Ganley Subaru of Bedford!

Big things are happening here in Bedford, OH. The latest 2019 Subaru cars and SUVs are rolling into our Broadway Avenue showroom and onto our lot daily, and if the Subaru tradition is any indication -- we think it is -- then there's much more excitement to come.

For one, you can look forward to a host of new 2019 SUVs to explore like the all-new Subaru Ascent, Crosstrek, and Outback. Plus, a new Subaru Impreza sedan and hatchback duo is coming down the pipe, as is a new Subaru Legacy mid-size car and WRX sports sedan. Each will obviously feature the celebrated flat-four SUBARU BOXER engine and standard permanent, always-on Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. But step into the driver's seat of the model that captures your attention, and you'll find more than the dependable mainstays that make a Subaru, a Subaru.

2019 Ascent, for example, will be the model of choice for large families that travel widely and frequently. In a nod to its Tribeca ancestor, will be built on the new, hardier, and more rigid Subaru Global Platform, as durable as it is safe. Bad-weather and all-terrain chops will include a standard wheel slip-reducing X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control for powering over inclines, 8.7 inches of ground clearance for obstacle avoidance, and most of all, a huge, accommodating interior, burgeoning up to 153.5 cubic feet. There's up to 86.5 cubic feet for cargo with 60/40-split seating folded flat, standard raised roof rails, and when it's properly equipped, you can tow up to 5,000 pounds. That's enough for a small camper, a couple of personal watercraft, or even a second car.

Of course, in addition to SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia infotainment, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone connectivity, and available Wi-Fi, EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology now comes standard for peace of mind. Plus, with SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security services, should the worst happen, you can have first responders and roadside assistance at your side in no time. There are a few new features, too. One's an available EyeSight® Assist Monitor, which can flash driving condition alerts on your windshield. The next is an all-new remote capability -- you can now start your engine and manage interior climate using your smartphone. There's even a new Concierge service that can assist with everything from navigation to scheduling service appointments.

The latest 2019 Crosstrek, on the other hand, will offer some of the widest appeal to orienteers of all stripes, with its ability to tow up to 1,500 pounds, 20.8 to 55.3 cubic feet of cargo capacity, raised roof rails for the camp's extras, and excellent EP-estimated fuel economy of 23-27 mpg in the city and 29-33 mpg down the highway, depending on transmission. EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology remains an option, as do SUBARU STARLINK Safety and Security, Blind-Spot Detection, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, but standard Active Torque Vectoring, and now, new Steering Responsive Fog Lights in select trims, will make the new Crosstrek nimble around corners with optimal visibility where it's tough to see.

You can also expect four infotainment options, a bump from last year's three, in 6.5-inch STARLINK Multimedia, 6.5- and 8.0-inch Multimedia Plus, and 8.0-inch Multimedia Navigation variants. Standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the base becomes cloud-based app access with a step up, and the higher trims feature voice-activated GPS, SiriusXM All Access Radio, Traffic, and Travel Link travel updates, and NFC technology for mobile devices. There's even available 4G LTE Wi-Fi.

But let's not forget 2019 WRX, the most viscerally exhilarating Subaru sports car ride yet, churning 268 to 310 horsepower, and featuring performance-tuned Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-DRIVE) modes, a Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) in models like WRX STI to allocate torque, and optional Brembo® performance brakes. It's even the comfortable choice for your inner Formula 1 enthusiast, with a choice of seating in cloth, leather trim, Ultrasuede® and leather, or performance-inspired Recaro®, heated in front, and drivers-side power-adjustable.

Keep an eye out for the new Impreza, Legacy, and Outback, and in the meantime, feel free to check out all that 2019 has to offer here at Ganley Subaru of Bedford.
